That's what I've tried to do, but so far I haven't really debated anyone in-person on issues regarding sexuality and religion ~ only online.I doubt anything will become of my videos. I just enjoy recording my life and communicating with people and occasionally I help random struggling teenagers :-)
That's one of my main issues with mainstream media - occasionally they'lll report on something bad happening to an LGBT person, but the majority of the hate crimes go unnoticed (particularly towards the transgendered community).
I found you through researching Ryan Skipper. I was going through my e-mail and remembered the issue (I haven't watched TV for the past six years) because of the newsletter Equality Florida sends out. And I'm not surprised you haven't heard of Ryan Skipper. The Ryan Skipper incident is EXACTLY the reason I wouldn't want any harm to befall you. Regardless of how violent and extreme a hate crime against homosexuals is, the media will simply cover if up because everyone agrees with the action. :(
